6th Annual “Art, Sip, Stroll” – Arts In April Event
Join us for Yountville’s 6th annual Yountville “Art, Sip & Stroll”
Enjoy an afternoon of fine wines while strolling through the beautiful town of Yountville and the eclectic galleries of V Marketplace. View the wonderful variety of outdoor sculptures and dozens of artist booths featuring painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics and more. The artists from the V Marketplace are Betty Jo March at Hogan of Napa Valley; Guy Buffet, Marta Collings and Evaristo Paris De Andrade at North Bay Gallery; Tetiana Iukhymets and TISY at Gallery 1870; and Sherry Flammer at Sisters Boutque. V Marketplace will host Dillon Vineyards and Trombetta Family Wines on our front lawn and inside North Bay Gallery.
• Tetiana Iukhymets was born in Kiev, Ukraine. After graduating from Kiev State Academy of Fine Arts, Tania established herself as one of the most respected and collected artists in Eastern Europe.
• In recent years, Tetiana has collaborated with her husband Slava Yasnopolsky (also from the Ukraine) to create unique three-dimensional art sculptures in “reverse perspective”. These optical illusions move with the viewer and trick the viewer to thinking they can move further into the painting. Together, Tetiana Iukhymets and Slava Ysnopolsky create optical illusions under the artist name TISY (a combination of their initials).
• Evaristo Paris De Andrade is a colorful impressionistic artist that creates modern art with oil paint.
Born in the South of France now living in Berkeley, Evaristo’s inspirations derive from his travel abroad and love of architecture, history, culture and gastronomy.
Influenced by the great masters, each of his original paintings are full of an intense mix of color and emotion that his clients covet.
The perfectly balanced fruit and acid structure of their Chardonnay grapes give Dillon Vineyards the ability to ferment their grapes in the two classic vinification techniques: stainless steel and oak barrel fermentation; the best of both world.
Selecting clones of Pinot Noir that exemplify the rich soils, and cool weather of the Sonoma Coast, Trombetta Family Wines has created a beautifully balanced wine. Every bottle has been hand-harvested, fermented with native yeast, and allowed to develop the native malolactic fermentation in barrels.
While the route will be easily walk-able, the Yountville Trolley will be running all day to transport visitors through town, free of charge. A $20 tasting bracelet allows visitors to taste wines along the way. Tasting bracelets are available for purchase at V Marketplace and other locations throughout town on the day of the event. All proceeds from this event benefit the arts in Yountville.
Your $20 donation provides you with a glass and wrist band that allows for all day tasting at participating stops!
